Two Female Juveniles Arrested After Robbing and Assaulting Victim in East Boston

At about 8:54 PM on Thursday, May 7, 2026, officers assigned to District A-7 (East Boston) responded to a radio call for a person with a knife in the area of 5 Falcon Street in East Boston.

Upon arrival, officers spoke to the female victim who appeared visibly upset. The victim stated she had parked her car at the Mobil gas station located at the aforementioned location and had entered the store. The victim stated upon entering the store, she observed a group of approximately five juvenile females arguing with the store employee. The victim stated the group turned their attention to her and one of the suspects grabbed her wallet before the group fled the store on foot. The victim gave chase and eventually caught up with the group in the area of 425 Border Street. At this time, one of the suspects became physically aggressive with the victim and a struggle over the wallet ensued in which the victim was shoved to the ground and kicked multiple times. The victim was able to gain possession of her wallet while the suspects fled into the apartment building at 425 Border Street. The victim stated that she was missing cash that had been inside of her wallet.

Additional responding officers were provided with images of the apparent suspects as officers on scene were directed to the second floor of the apartment building where they saw a group of juveniles looking out of the window. As officers approached the apartment, they were met by an adult female and a juvenile male, both of whom told officers that they were alone in the apartment. Officers were given permission to search the premises and subsequently located six additional juveniles inside of the apartment.

One of the females was identified as the suspect who stole the victim’s wallet and a second female was identified as the suspect who assaulted the victim. The first suspect was taken into custody without issue while the second suspect violently resisted, kicking, screaming, and refusing to move from the ground causing a scene which disturbed several residents of the apartment building. Eventually officers were able to gain control of the suspect who was then taken into custody. The remaining juveniles were identified and released from the scene.

Officers arrested a 14-year-old female juvenile of Mattapan who is charged with Unarmed Robbery and a 16-year-old female juvenile of Dorchester who is charged with Unarmed Robbery, Unarmed Assault to Rob, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct. Both are expected to be arraigned in Chelsea Juvenile Court.
