UPDATE: POSTPONED UNTIL MARCH DUE TO SNOW – see new date below

Eastie residents are invited to look up and explore the night sky during a Moon + Stargazing Night at the East Boston Public Library later this week.

Hosted by PopScope Boston in partnership with the Friends of the Mary Ellen Welch Greenway, the event will give neighbors of all ages the chance to become “astronomers” for the evening. Attendees will be able to observe the moon, stars, and more through professional telescopes while learning about what’s happening above us in the winter sky.

The free community event takes place on Thursday, March 26th from 6:30–8:00pm at the East Boston Public Library. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the rain date is February 26th. All ages are welcome. 🌙✨
