East Boston Drug Control Unit Recovered Cocaine, and Drug Manufacturing Material after a Search Warrant

On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, officers assigned to the Drug Control Unit of District A-7 (East Boston) and District E-5 (Roslindale/West Roxbury) arrested the following individuals after a search warrant: Juan Velez Gallego, 35, of East Boston, Mohammad Majeed, 38, of Boston, and Marlon Guitierrez Rios, 35, of East Boston.
An investigation was initiated after receiving community complaints of after-hours parties where liquor and drugs were being sold at 829 Saratoga Street. At about 6:21 AM, officers executed a search warrant and recovered various quantities of cocaine, pink cocaine, $6,821 in U.S. currency, drug manufacturing material, and multiple digital scales.

All three suspects were placed under arrest and expected to be arraigned in East Boston District Court for the following charges:
– Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B
Velez Gallego and Guitierrez Rios were additionally charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A.
