Body found under Andrew McArdle Bridge in East Boston

A body was found under an East Boston bridge on Saturday morning.
Boston Police and the Harbor Patrol Unit responded to a radio call about an object floating in the water under the Andrew McArdle Bridge around 7:20 a.m. That object was a body and the victim was pronounced dead.
Homicide detectives were called and responded to the scene. Officials stated that the victim’s identity, sex and age are unknown.
The investigation is ongoing.
