Three Schools In Eastie Had A Delayed Dismissal due to a Reported Riffleman

Universal Hub is reporting that students at the Curtis Guild School on Leyden Street, the Bradley School on Beachview Road and Excel Academy on Bremen Street and Moore Street had to delay their students from leaving the schools while BPD searched for a man with a rifle that some reported seeing on Leyden near the Guild around 2:25pm on Wednesday.
BPD searched Orient Heights – including the Orient Heights and Suffolk Downs Blue Line stops. Some officers were present in front of the school in case this person showed up. But he never did. By 3:15pm, police allowed schools to dismiss.
