Tune In – St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast

If you love nostalgia, singing Irish songs, and local politicians telling jokes, then you’ll love this event! Senator Nick Collins will host the legendary St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast on Sunday, March 17th, at 10am live and in person at the Ironworkers Union Hall on Old Colony Ave! This year, the Breakfast will be broadcast to a wider audience, with NECN and NESN joining media partners BNN, WROL, and Caught In Southie. The event will be live-streamed on NECN, BNN, and WROL Radio beginning at 9:30 a.m. Live TV broadcast will begin at 10 a.m. Caught In Southie will provide exclusive behind-the-scenes coverage. Take a trip to the library

This place has it all!  Books, eBooks, audiobooks, movies, TV series and music, maps, magazines and more! It also houses beautiful remnants of  “Ships Through The Ages” murals painted by  Frederic Leonard King between 1934 and 1935. Beyond what can be checked out, you can participate in a plethora of classes and social gatherings. Last call for Seabiscuit

The owners of Seabiscuit, the Aussie pie, pastry, and coffee shop located at 256 Marginal Street, will be officially closing its doors on March 14th. It’s a perfect excuse to pick up a delicious egg sandwich, a chicken schnitty, a cheeseburger pie, or some potato wedges!
