East Boston Neighborhood Health Center will be rebranding to NeighborHealth in June

The Boston Business Journal is reporting that East Boston Neighborhood Health Center, the largest community health center in Massachusetts, is rebranding to NeighborHealth in June.

Since 1970, EBNHC has grown to have 2,000 employees, 120,000 patients yearly, and an operating budget of $270 million. It has clinical sites in East Boston, Winthrop, Everett, and Revere.  In 2020, it also acquired the South End Community Health Center –  which will also get a new name due to the rebranding!

According to the article,

EBNHC collaborated with patients, staff, and community leaders to choose the new name. They decided on NeighborHealth, to represent the health system’s mission to provide patient-centric, culturally relevant, and accessible healthcare.
