Walgreens potentially closed for most of Thursday

After a “flooding situation” overnight at Walgreens on East Broadway, BFD had to shut off all power in the building on Thursday morning. The drugstore is now in need of a plumber and an electrician to fix the situation. The store will be closed until repairs are made and electricity can be restored. Plan accordingly.
Recently, City Council President Ed Flynn wrote a letter to Walgreens for their “arbitrary closings of the pharmacy.”
In the past, we’ve written about the deplorable conditions of the East Broadway store.
