Hottest Line in Southie: The Porta-Potties at M Street Beach

Southie is THE place to be – especially on weekends. With lines forming at all the hot spots including brunch at Lincoln, Capo basement, STATS for game watching and The Broadway for dinner. Well, the M Street Beach porta-potties was the line of the weekend -captured by the Southie Line Girls.
With mid-80 degree temps on Saturday, M Street Beach was packed with beach-goers looking for a good time and some vitamin D.
Back in 2020, porta-potties were in installed at the beach after a “situation” reared its ugly head when beachgoers were using people’s properties to go the bathroom (both 1 and 2). The Curley Community Center is still undergoing renovations so public restrooms are unavailable and the porta-potties will be a much needed “amenity” this summer.
