Development Watch: 24-26 Drydock Ave
Looks like Cronin Group will be leasing a parcel of land at 24-26 Drydock Ave. in the Raymond Flynn Industrial Park to develop a five-story commercial building. The Cronin Group beat out plenty of other developers for this $81 million project. One of the reasons why is that the Cronin Group has agreed to subsidize a shuttle service between the Seaport and Nubian Square (formerly Dudley Square) in Roxbury.
According to the Boston Globe, the Cronin Group will pay nearly $1.4 million a year to the City of Boston and Boston Ship Repair.
The Cronin Group is also the developer behind the St. Regis Residences now being built in the former spot where the Atlantic Beer Garden and Whiskey Priest once stood.
