Woman and two children are dead after incident near Ruggles Station
During a press conference on Thursday afternoon, District Attorney Rachael Rollins revealed that the deaths of a mother and two children on Christmas were a double homicide/suicide.
Erin Pascal, 40, of West Roxbury, leapt to her death after her two children, Allison, 4, and Andrew, 15 months, fell from the top of a garage near Ruggles Station.
The victims were found unconscious around 1:30pm on Wednesday. According to Rollins these were the third, fourth and fifth suicide-related deaths at the garage this year. The garage is owned by Northeastern University.
BPD encouraged anyone who saw what happened to contact investigators at 1-800-494-TIPS (8477). He also said witnesses, including police officers who responded to the scene, can seek counseling through the city’s trauma hotline, 617-431-0125.
