Pedestrian struck by car in South Boston
A 39-year-old woman was hospitalized Tuesday morning after she was struck by a vehicle near Frontage Road in South Boston.
The crash happened around 7:15 a.m. The pedestrian was transported to Boston Medical Center with serious injuries.
According to WHDH, State police say the victim was struck by a 49-year-old Dorchester woman who was driving a 2019 Toyota Camry. After interviewing the driver and witnesses, investigators believe the victim allegedly walked into the road against a green light.
The investigation remains ongoing.
